On behalf of Nodi Handmade Rugs and Carpet, The Pond Recruitment is looking for a proven Content Marketing Specialist to join our clients growing business, designers and producers of naturally sourced, handcrafted rugs and carpets. This is an important role for the marketing team, working directly with the Head of Marketing and CEO/Creative Director, talented leaders who are passionate about elevating the Nodi brand and company to new heights. You’ll play a critical part in growing this brand in new markets, always delivering on Nodi’s promise to enrich and elevate people’s lives by creating a natural place of connection between people and their everyday living and working environments.

The purpose of your role is to enhance Nodi presence in the NZ market. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality content, optimising engagement and performance across predominantly digital channels, and providing actionable insights to support the Head of Marketing and the wider team. Your role is critical in communicating Nodi’s brand story uniquely, authentically and creatively to drive engagement and growth.

The breakdown

We are looking for a marketer with: 

  • Minimum 4 years’ total commercial marketing experience
  • Expertise in content creation and digital channel management and execution
  • Some exposure to other traditional mediums – trade, events, press etc 

Key responsibilities are:

  • Premium Brand Marketing - proven experience in brand and digital marketing for premium, design-led brands
  • Social Media - experience developing and managing social content, campaign and community strategies, specifically Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  • Copywriting & Content Creation - a good eye for design, with great copywriting skills and the ability to create photography and video content (iPhone). Your ability to tell unique brand stories through digital channels will be key to your success
  • Tools - experience with basic design tools such as Canva (Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro is a bonus but not essential)
  • Email Marketing - leading the creation, deployment, and segmentation of email campaigns and flows (Klayvio or alike)
  • Web Content Management - managing and updating web and ecommerce content
